Black Pride Ypsi created our social media pages on Facebook and Instagram in late November of 2024.
Black Pride Ypsi is Established
Black Pride Ypsi is established as a 501 c 3 nonprofit in late December of 2024.
Over 10 Events Hosted
In our first year, we hosted eleven community centered events including our annual Cookout and Cousinsgiving,
Over $1,000 Fundraised
Black Pride Ypsi received over $1,000 to fund our events through donations and sponsorships from community members and local organizations.

Where We're Going in 2026
Black Pride Ypsi's One Year Plan Looks Like:
- Hosting 12 community events with two trans specific events.
- Conducting research to better understand community needs.
- Creating and launching our Business and Resource Directory.
- Creating a blog to help community members navigate resources.
- Fundraising $5,000 to support events and community members.
